Three Pillars Acupuncture accepts insurance and is in network with most major plans!
Listed below are some of the plans we are either in network or will be accepting shortly.
These lists are not comprehensive and if you do not see your plan listed, please contact us or visit our online booking site to schedule an appointment – an insurance verification request will be emailed automatically to you before your visit.
Please note it can take up to 72 hours to verify coverage through your insurance company, and all coverage MUST be verified prior to your first visit to ensure your insurance policy covers acupuncture.
Please note: we are NOT in network with any MediCal plans.
Medicare typically does not cover acupuncture, although in 2021 there are some plans that have a “trial basis” of acupuncture treatment for chronic low back pain. This is typically limited to 12 visits in a specific time frame and must be verified on a case by case basis.
We are currently in network with the following ASH (American Specialty Health) network plans*:
- Anthem Blue Cross (CA, CO, CT, IN, KY, ME, NH, OH)
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield (select plans)
- Group Health, Inc.
- Health Net
- Health Link
- Providence Health Plan
- many others – over 80 plans are included in the ASH* network
We are currently in network with the following Optum network plans:
- California Schools (VEBA)
- Easy Choice
- Sutter Health Plus
- United Health Care
- any other health plans included in the Optum network
We are currently in network with Landmark*
We are proud to serve our Veterans, and are currently in network with the VA Choice Program – if you are a Veteran and are in the Choice program, call the VA for information on how to get a referral for Acupuncture care.
