His path to practicing medicine was rekindled in 2001. While pursuing personal interests in Eastern philosophy, Peter began practicing taijiquan, a Chinese martial art.  While studying taijiquan, he received a free acupuncture treatment as a gift from a fellow student. After personally experiencing the amazing physical, mental, and emotional health benefits of both taijiquan and acupuncture, Peter decided to rekindle his childhood interest in practicing medicine and begin pursuing a career as a healthcare professional, specializing in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Peter attended Penn State University, working toward a BS in Music Education prior to leaving school to pursue professional interests in music. Following his 12 year career in music, he worked in education and during that time earned a BS in Human Services Management from the University of Phoenix. He then earned an MS in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. He is a California Acupuncture Board Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist and has helped hundreds of people enjoy good health and wellbeing with Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
